M2 Machines 1967 Novas

M2 Machines continues to crank out variations of their 1967 Chevrolet Nova casting. I found these two at Walmart.

The Nova in the Auto-Drivers release 32 is an SS 283, which was the smaller of two small-block V-8 engines – along with the 327 – available for the ’67 model year. I don’t have any of my M2s out of the packages, so it’s hard for me to compare the engines. But, judging from the level of detail on these models, it’s safe to guess that what’s under the opening hood actually looks like a 283.

More of my M2 Machines 1967 Novas can be seen here, here and here.

The Foose series features cars designed by the Calfornia automotive designer, Chip Foose, and featured on his TV show “Overhaulin’”. I’m not crazy about the paint job on this version. I prefer the earlier Foose ’67 Novas, which can be seen here and here.
